Stephen J. L. Page
Chairman and CEO
Stephen Page was born in London, England. After
completing a three-year Executive Management Program with British Telecom,
he worked in the firm's "DATEL" division, to provide London's
financial district with worldwide data communication services. Mr. Page
joined Sperry Univac, Federal Systems Division, in 1974 and spent four
years serving the American Armed Forces in top secret computer
installations throughout Europe.
In 1978, he joined Itel International to establish the
firm's European operations and transferred to Itel, U.S.A., in 1979. In
1979, Mr. Page was recruited by Central Bank to re-engineer the bank's
back office Information Technology and Transaction Processing operations.
Mr. Page directed the consolidation of RepublicBank of Dallas statewide
operations from 1980 to 1981. In 1981, he founded Page-Wheatcroft &
Co., Ltd to identify senior executives to lead key practices and/or
geographies within the best managed, most profitable, global professional
services firms.
During the previous 19 years, Page-Wheatcroft &
Co., Ltd contributed significantly to the successful expansion of many
prominent Legal and Consulting professional services firms. Principal
consulting firms served include: Scient; A.T. Kearney, Inc.; Ernst &
Young, L.L.P.; Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Inc.; and,
PricewaterhouseCoopers. Global and national law firms served include:
Patton Boggs, LLP, Weil Gotshal & Manges, LLP, Jones, Day, Reavis
& Pogue and Baker & Botts, L.L.P. Additional clients served
include Cisco and several of Silicon Valleys most prominent VC firms.
Stephens practice is focused on the identification of leaders for
professional services firms and CEOs for VC firms portfolio
companies.
Mr. Page received degrees in both Mathematics and
Telecommunications as part of British Telecom's Executive Management
Program from Merton University in Surrey, England. He also completed
Harvard Business Schools inaugural Leadership in Professional Service
Firms program. |
